Faster than a speeding bullet!

On the day that Swindon council chose to abolish all speed cameras within their borough, a team of British engineers is aiming to break the 1,000mph (1,610km/h) barrier on wheels for the first time. The rocket powered craft called The Bloodhound, shown in the promotional video bears a striking resemblance to the craft Top Gear presenter Richard Hammond famoulsy piloted and crashed several years ago.
